Description

This XFCN allows access to some of the features of the Scrip manager.

The current commands implemented allow to find out the language and region codes of the current system, to find out how many script systems are installed, and to find out which version of the Script Manager is present.

In the future other commands may be added to this command to provide access to other Script Manager features. Please let me know what you need.


Commands

system language

DESCRIPTION

This XFCN allows access to some of the features of the Scrip manager.

SYNTAX

  Worldwide(<command>)

where the <command> parameter can be one of: system language, system region, script version, scripts.

COMMANDS

The SYSTEM LANGUAGE and SYSTEM REGION Commands:

These two commands return the language code and region code respectively for the currently installed system.

Full details of the region & language codes can be found in Inside Macintosh, Volume VI.

The SCRIPTS Command:

The Scripts command returns the number of script systems installed.

The SCRIPT VERSION Command:

The Script Version command returns the version number of the script manager.

system region

The system region command returns the region code for the currently installed system.

scripts

The Scripts command returns the number of script systems installed.

script version

The Script Version command returns the version number of the script manager.
