QuicksandThis tiny Applescript is designed to delete the annoying "Get QuickTime Pro" movie that all distributors of Quicktime 3.0 are supposed to install on your desktop.
I think that Quicktime is superb, and I urge you all to pay for Quicktime Pro.
However, I do think that forcing software distributors who can't afford to pay for quicktime to instead install adverts on your desktop is going a bit far. So I wrote this applescript to clean up after them. All it does it check once per minute for a file on your desktop called "Get QuickTime Pro", and delete it when it finds one.
